Salesforce: What are the company's decision makers thinking?

Salesforce:  What are the company's decision makers thinking with their misguided potential purchase of Twitter?

Earlier this year Salesforce attempted to purchase LinkedIn.  That failed.  Now Salesforce is contemplating purchasing Twitter, a company that has been given a not-interested-in-buying-it thumbs down by blue chip companies including Disney, Apple, and Google.

What value could Salesforce possibly see in Twitter that these 3 other companies have not?  Not even the eye opening soap opera caused by Donald Trump's tweets on Twitter is helping Twitter stock.

Hopefully Salesforce will wise up and quit pursuing Twitter.  Otherwise I'll continue to shake my head over this potential acquisition.

  1. Isn't salesforce trying to block Microsoft's pending purchase of Linkedin?

  2. Twitter = Waste of time. No value.

  3. Maybe Donald Trump will buy Twitter after he loses next month. Then expand the charter limit to an unlimited limit, but only for beautiful women of his choosing.

    1. Now that's a thought! Wouldn't put it past him.

  4. I like twitter. I think all people want to know I'm washing a load of dirty diapers, or that my cat just puked and i'm cleaning the mess up with kitty litter of all things.

  5. I miss the old days. So much much technology is a time waste.

    1. Some days I certainly agree. And don't forget the old rotary phones that always worked. I can be such a dork, I actually have to ask my husband how to use the TV remote. :(
